Another transfer window has come and almost gone, and once again questions have been raised about Man Utd's business. After two successful windows last season where they landed their prime targets (albeit somewhat belatedly), the Red Devils have managed to get just one deal over the line this summer.
While £40million signing Donny van de Beek is a decent acquisition, United have failed to land Jadon Sancho or any alternatives as yet.
Their inability to offload some of the deadwood in their squad has also been a cause for concern. United were forced to terminate Alexis Sanchez's contract by mutual consent in order to get him off the wage bill, as Andreas Pereira has been the only other notable exit on loan.
