Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Manchester United's transfer pursuit of Jadon Sancho is likely to be the saga of the summer. The young England winger, formerly of Manchester City, has established himself as one of Europe's finest talents at Borussia Dortmund over the past few seasons.
This campaign alone Sancho has bagged 16 goals and set up a further 17 in all competitions. At just 20 years of age he is considered England's most exciting prospect.
But the winger won't come cheap with Dortmund likely to command a fee in the region of £120million. And United will also face competition from fellow big-named clubs; Real Madrid, Liverpool and Chelsea have all been linked with the winger.
