Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Manchester United have been told of Bournemouth’s transfer stances on Josh King and David Brooks. The Red Devils are looking to splash the cash this summer under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The Norwegian wants to build a squad capable of mounting a title challenge in the Premier League against the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City.
Several targets have been touted but the main priorities are a striker and a right winger. A raid on two Bournemouth stars in King and Brooks had been mooted, solving both problems.
Indeed, Solskjaer attempted to sign his compatriot in January in his hunt for a striker. The injury to Marcus Rashford made a forward an immediate priority but the Cherries did not want to lose King halfway through the season.
