Manchester United have reportedly upped their asking price for Chris Smalling as Premier League clubs eye a move. The England international was sent off to Roma in the summer after falling out of favour at Old Trafford.
But following his move to Serie A, Smalling has found his groove again. The veteran defender has been a standout performer with 28 appearances to his name in the eternal city.
That’s put him on the radar of several Premier League clubs, who are eager to bolster their respective back lines in the summer.
Tottenham, Arsenal and Everton are all jockeying for position. According to The Metro , United are keen to exploit the situation though.
