Manchester United fans were necking cans of lager on the Old Trafford pitch as the anti-Glazer protest got out of hand.Supporters stormed through gates at the stadium on Sunday ahead of the match against Liverpool.Video footage from protesters on the pitch showed hundreds of fans with banners, flares and smoke bombs.And fans even brought along cans of lager - to turn their impromptu trip onto the legendary surface into a boozy one.Fans could be seen with cans of Kronenberg in their hands - and one even had a bottle of Corona - while they were singing songs towards the director boxes.Put it all together and the protest almost resembled something more akin to a music festival, with the Old Trafford pitch designated as United fans' main stage.
