Manchester United are facing the prospect of potentially playing as many as nine matches in January after the date for their rearranged game against Burnley was confirmed.
The Red Devils were due to face the Clarets at Turf Moor on the opening day of the Premier League season. However, this was postponed due to their progress to the Europa League semi-finals last season, which ran through August.
The Burnley fixture has now been confirmed to take place on Tuesday 12 January at 8.15pm by the Premier League. And it means United's squad may be stretched to the limits as they play at least twice a week until February.
