Man Utd are reportedly considering sending Eric Bailly out on loan amid interest from Valencia. The Ivorian defender had to endure a lengthy layoff due to injury this season but returned to action in February with an impressive performance against Chelsea.

Bailly is not first choice at Old Trafford though, with Victor Lindelof and Harry Maguire the preferred centre-half pairing.

Boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen for Bailly to get regular minutes, and The Sun report he is open to sending the player out on a temporary deal.

Valencia are hopeful of securing the services of the ex-Villarreal man, but United would demand at least half of his £150,000-per-week wages.
