Police have issued an appeal after a man was seriously hurt in an attack outside a car wash in Cadishead. Officers were called to the scene outside the Meera hand car wash on Liverpool Road at around 11.15am on Wednesday (October 4).
Police said a man was attacked by another man after 'entering the forecourt of a business'. He was taken to hospital with serious and life-changing injuries.

Police are now appealing for anyone with information or footage of the incident to come forward. In a statement issued this morning, Greater Manchester Police said: "Officers are appealing for information following reports of an assault on Liverpool Road, Irlam, on Wednesday 4 October.
