A man was left seriously injured after being assaulted by two men in a violent attack in Bolton. Police and paramedics were called to the scene outside a premises on Bradshawgate at around 1.20am on Sunday (September 3).
Officers at the scene discovered a 56-year-old man was injured and had been assaulted by two men. Detectives believe the attack to have been targeted.
An investigation was launched, with a cordon remaining in place around a number of shops and bars throughout Sunday morning whilst enquiries were carried out. Enquiries remain ongoing to track down the second suspect. A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police: "At around 1:20 am this morning (Sunday 3 September 2023), officers were called to reports of an assault outside a premises on Bradshawgate in Bolton. "Emergency services attended the scene, and a 56-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
