A man has been taken to hospital with head injuries after a 'road rage' incident broke out following a crash. Emergency services descended on Tonge Moor Road, in Bolton, earlier this afternoon (August 1).
Greater Manchester Police says a man has been arrested on suspicion of assaulting another man. It's believed the suspect got out of his vehicle moments after the collision, before carrying out the attack.
Officers have been at the scene for more than two hours. Part of the footpath on Tonge Moor Road is currently taped off while officers carry out their enquiries. Emergency services attended the scene, and a man was found with head injuries. "He has since been taken to hospital to receive further treatment.
