Investigations are underway at the scene following a house fire in Bury last night. The blaze broke out at a home on Parkhills Road at around 8.30pm on Monday evening.
Firefighters were scrambled to the scene with the house taped off and the front windows left smashed. Local councillor Tamoor Tariq said he believed the incident was 'targeted' with a 'small explosion' before emergency crews arrived.

Police tape remains in place around the house, with fire investigators also at the property. It has not yet been confirmed whether the blaze is being treated as suspicious.
