A man has been found guilty of murdering his disabled neighbour who died in hospital two years after the attack - sparked by an argument about a dog.
Raymond Burrell denied murdering Matthew Sheehan, but he was found guilty by a jury following a two-week trial at Newport Crown Court.
Prosecutor Michael Jones QC said Burrell "deliberately, brutally and repeatedly attacked Mr Sheehan, causing him catastrophic and life-changing injuries that ultimately led to his death".
Prosecutors said a friend went to see Mr Sheehan the day before the incident in Cardiff on September 1, 2015 and thought he seemed “frightened” following a dispute with a neighbour.
