Man hospitalised following suspected assault in Scots town

hospitalised in a suspected assault in a Scots town. The 43-year-old was found injured on Main Street in Paisley around 3.35pm yesterday afternoon.

He was rushed to Royal Alexandra Hospital and treated for injuries to the face. Police have been going door to door in the local area and say he may have been attacked in Kilpatrick Crescent.Detective Inspector Robert Bowie of CID in Paisley said :“Officers were called to a report of a man found injured in Main Street yesterday afternoon."Following enquiries we believe the man may have been assaulted in Kilpatrick Crescent area of the town earlier in the afternoon."We are carrying out door to door enquiries and reviewing CCTV in effort to establish how the victim came by his injuries He suffered.
