A man was 'cut with a weapon' after a fight broke out outside a pub in Prestwich. Police said officers were called to a 'disturbance' at a premises on Bury New Road at around 1.40am this morning (Sunday).
Pictures show multiple police vehicles and officers outside the Red Lion pub. A 33-year-old was attacked after a fight broke out.

No arrests have been made yet. Officers are urging anyone with information to 'make themselves known'. In a statement, a Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: "At approximately 1:40am today (13 August 2023), officers were called to reports of a disturbance at a premises on Bury New Road in Prestwich. "It is reported that during a fight a 33-year-old man was assaulted and sustained injuries although thankfully these are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing. "Enquiries are ongoing and whilst no arrests have been made at this time, officers are appealing to anyone with relevant information to make themselves known.
