Manchester City will let Sergio Aguero leave at the end of the season if they cannot get their Champions League ban lifted. UEFA sent shockwaves through football after handing the Etihad outfit a jawdropping two-year suspension from European competitions in February.
It followed a guilty verdict given to them over falsely inflating their sponsorship revenues when submitting accounts as part of the FFP compliance process.
The Premier League champions have already lodged an appeal to the Court for Arbitration of Sport. But it remains to be seen whether they would be successful or not.
City have always maintained that they will keep their squad together. However, The Sun have reported that a special exception has been made for Aguero.
