City were under an hour from the scheduled kick-off vs Barcelona at the Camping World Stadium, when a lightning storm in the area sent a huge downpour over the stadium.
Their first friendly of the summer had been put in doubt in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, when a weather warning saw fans evacuate the Kenan Stadium completely, although there was no change in weather overhead and the game kicked off shortly after the advertised time. Fans sheltered under the concrete stands as they watched the rain fall, with the big screens asking supporters to take cover.
