Police remained in attendance on a street in Didsbury for a number of days as part of a huge investigation, with a man arrested on suspicion of terrorism offences.
Tactical Aid Unit officers were pictured on Highcroft Avenue on Sunday (August 11), having remained at the scene for at least two days.
Counter Terrorism Policing South East said a 33-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of the commission, preparation and instigation of acts of terrorism under Section 41 of the Terrorism Act 2000. Other men and women have been arrested in connection with the major investigation, from Devon, London, Swansea, Enfield, Edinburgh, Warwickshire and Merton.
