Manchester City are poised to sign Ferran Torres after the £21million-rated Valencia winger was linked to Manchester United and Liverpool.
City and Valencia have agreed a fee, and the Spanish under-21 international is be confirmed this week as a replacement for departed wideman Leroy Sane.
Pep Guardiola sanctioned the £40m sale of Sane to Bayern Munich last month - but only once the City boss knew he could sign Torres, who has agreed a five-year deal worth an estimated £55,000-a-week.
Guardiola has been tracking Torres all season, with the 20-year-old also believed to have been on the radars of United and Liverpool having emerged as one of Spain's brightest young prospects.
