Man City slap £30million price tag on Eric Garcia as he eyes Barcelona transfer

mirror.co.ukPep Guardiola has revealed young defender Eric Garcia wants to quit Manchester City. City want to keep hold of Barcelona target Garcia, but are only prepared to let him go for a fee of around £30million.
Garcia, 19, is highly rated at City but has had his head turned by boyhood club Barca's desire to take him back. He has told Guardiola he will not sign an extension.
Against that backdrop, City must decide whether to cash in on Garcia - who has made 19 appearances this season - this summer or risk losing him for nothing next year.
City see Garcia's market value as similar to that of winger Ferran Torres, whom they have just signed from Valencia for an initial fee of £20.9m.
