The Manchester City playmaker suffered an acute nose bone fracture and left orbital fracture after a collision with Chelsea's Antonio Rudiger in the Champions League final.
That put De Bruyne's participation in Euro 2020 in doubt, and he has played no part in Belgium's pre-tournament friendlies. Instead, he underwent a short procedure at the weekend to improve his chances of playing in the tournament.
