straight to your inbox German newspaper Der Spiegel claims to have fresh evidence that Manchester City lied to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
But the Blues have hit back strongly at the new allegations and issued a statement totally refuting the claims. City were recently cleared by the independent court of any wrongdoing after Uefa used the publication’s initial allegations against them as the basis for hitting the club with a two-year ban from European competition.
Der Spiegel originally claimed that seven hacked emails showed City had been disguising owner investment as sponsorship payments, which led directly to Uefa banning City and fining them 30million euros.
