Manchester City and Eintracht Frankfurt have signed all of the documents needed for Omar Marmoush to complete his move to the Etihad Stadium.
And it is now considered a matter of when and not if the Egyptian international forward signs for the Premier League champions.
It is expected the 25-year-old will join up with his new City team-mates ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash with Chelsea and he will add much needed competition up front for top goalscorer Erling Haaland.
Marmoush, who joined Frankfurt on a free transfer from Wolfsburg 18 months ago, has 20 goals and 14 assists to his name in 26 appearances across all competitions this term.
