Bernardo Silva admits he misses former Manchester City team-mate Julian Alvarez after Pep Guardiola reluctantly let him leave.
Alvarez, who helped City win two Premier League titles and the Treble in just two seasons at the Etihad Stadium, was sold to Atletico Madrid for £81million in the summer.
The Argentine forward had grown disgruntled by his lack of game time, often being shifted out wide, benched or used in a deeper role to accommodate Erling Haaland.
City have suffered in attack in Alvarez’s absence, having had to splash out on new signings like Savinho and Omar Marmoush to bolster their forward line.
