A man was arrested after police were called to a crash involving a cyclist in Bolton. The smash happened on Chorley New Road in Horwich at around 10.10pm last night (Friday).
Police said officers were called to reports of a crash between a vehicle and a cyclist. One man was taken to hospital from the scene.
His injuries were not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing, police said. Eyewitnesses reported seeing a number of police vehicles on the scene after the crash last night. In a statement, a Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: "At around 10.10pm last night (29 September), officers responded to reports of a collision between a vehicle and a cyclist on Chorley New Road, Bolton. "A man was taken to hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
