It was actually an emotional weekend for Ellie as she competed in week four of the BBC One dance contest. The couple opened the latest Saturday night show with her Italian dance partner with a lively samba to Copacabana by Barry Manilow.
Dressed in a vibrant pink feathered dress, Bury-born Ellie looked fantastic as she twirled and dipped her way to a score of 28.
But the pair faced some criticism from the judges and as Ellie and Vito headed up to speak to co-host Claudia Winkleman alongside her fellow celebrities and the professional dancers, the former Coronation Street star was left in tears.
