Fire crews were scrambled to Manchester Road this morning (September 23) at around 6.30am to reports of a fire. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident, Greater Manchester Police confirmed. He remains in custody and is waiting to be questioned by detectives. The fire is understood to have started in a store cupboard inside the mid-terraced property, GMFRS said.
