Two pedestrians were left injured after a car mounted the pavement on a busy road near Greater Manchester. Officers were called out to High Street West in Glossop - part of the A57 between Tameside and Snake Pass - following the incident involving a black Vauxhall Corsa.
Derbyshire Police says the two pedestrians, a man in his 30s and a woman in her 20s, suffered minor injuries following the collision.
Detectives have today (July 18) released a statement urging witnesses to come forward following the incident, which took place shortly before 7am on Sunday, July 2.
A Derbyshire Police spokesperson said: "We are appealing for anyone with information to come forward after an assault in Glossop.
