Mallorca and Ibiza tourists to have time restrictions on their beach time

Mallorca and Ibiza have been given the go-ahead to put time limits on their most popular beaches if the islands see a huge surge in holidaymakers.

The Balearic government has drawn up a long list of regulations which tourists, local residents and businesses will have to adhere to under the country's 'new norm' since the State of Emergency was lifted today.

With Spain's borders now open to the majority of countries, including the UK, holidaymakers can now once again travel to popular resorts in Mallorca, Ibiza, Menorca and Formentera, meaning the once-empty beaches will be transformed into a sea of sunbathers.
