It was confirmed by Kensington Palace that Prince William and Kate Middleton are moving to Adelaide Cottage in Windsor. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis will also be starting Lambrook School near Ascot in September following the move.
A statement from Kensington Palace read: “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have today announced that Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis will attend Lambrook School in Berkshire from September 2022. “Their Royal Highnesses are hugely grateful to Thomas’s Battersea where George and Charlotte have had a happy start to their education since 2017 and 2019 respectively and are pleased to have found a school for all three of their children which shares a similar ethos and values to Thomas’s.” The family will be using Adelaide Cottage as their base, adding to the homes they have at their disposal.
We take a look at them… Kensington Palace Apartment 1A The family’s central London home, Apartment 1A at Kensington Palace, used to belong to Princess Margaret, and will remain their official working residence.
It was refurbished at a cost of £4.5 million to the taxpayer with a new roof and electrics, and the removal of asbestos. The impressive home has 20 rooms and a large, private walled garden.The Cambridges added a second kitchen, wanting a private family one in addition to the existing 350 sq ft kitchen.
