Lorraine Kelly has given a rare insight into former ITV presenter Phillip Schofield's life a year after his sudden departure from ITV.

Phillip, 61, stunned fans last year when he quit his role at This Morning and subsequently admitted to an "unwise but not illegal" affair with a much younger colleague.The fallout of saw him axed from ITV entirely and dropped by his agent.

Following this, Phillip has largely stayed out of the limelight after sharing that he felt "broken and ashamed" over the situation.

Now Lorraine has expressed her sadness for her former ITV colleague and revealed that he is still struggling a year after his TV exit.
