Ben Shephard's first replacement on Good Morning Britain has been confirmed ahead of his move to This Morning. The presenter has already finished his 10-year stint on the ITV news programme ahead of heading for pastures new.

It was announced last month that Ben was leaving GMB after he'd taken the job as the new co-host of This Morning alongside Cat Deeley.

The pair will replace previous main hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby following their sudden exits within months of each other last year.

On Friday, February 23, Ben sat alongside Kate Garraway at the helm of GMB for the last time as a number of his co-stars appeared live on air to wish him luck and send him on his way to the studio next door.
