LOOSE Women star Linda Robson has opened up about how overcoming her crippling health condition "transformed her life". The TV panellist revealed that she had her varicose veins in her legs treated after they ruined her "self-esteem" and "self-confidence".

Birds of a Feather star Linda, 64, admitted that the condition would stop her from showing off her legs. The TV favourite - who explained she became conscious of the veins after her third child Bobbie, now 26 - went on to have them removed.

She told The Mirror: "I became increasingly conscious of the veins on my legs and it really started to gnaw away at my self-esteem. "I’d go to crazy lengths to hide them, which didn’t do wonders for my self-confidence."
