Brent Lang Executive Editor of Film and MediaGravitas Ventures has secured worldwide rights to “Canvas,” an animated horror film that debuted at the Annecy Festival. The film was written and directed by Ryan Guiterman. It stars Marama Corlett, Steve Key, Isabel Ellison, Sam Encarnación and Ell Peck.

Netflix has ushered in the festive season with another Christmas-themed romantic comedy.Directed by Jerry Ciccoritti, Hot Frosty follows Kathy (Lacey Chabert) who, while dealing with the death of her husband, magically brings a handsome snowman to life.The titular Hot Frosty is played by Dustin Milligan, who previously starred in 90210 and Schitt’s Creek. Andrés Buenahora editor Kino Lorber has lifted the curtain on Paul Schrader‘s “Oh, Canada,” debuting the first trailer for the acclaimed filmmaker’s latest. The film first premiered at Cannes in May, competing for the Palme d’Or. It has since toured the festival season, with selections at both Toronto and New York.
