Laura Linney lit up the red carpet on Monday as she arrived at the Emmy Awards ceremony in Downtown Los Angeles.The 58-year-old actress — who already has four Primetime Emmy Awards — is competing for a fifth honor in the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series category for her dark crime drama Ozark.The film and television star glowed as she arrived at the Microsoft Theater in a brilliant white tiered dress. Laura Linney will be leaving the Ozarks and hitting Broadway as she prepares to return to the stage in April to star in a new play, Summer, 1976.The actress, who has won Golden Globe, Emmy, Screen Actors Guild, and several other awards and nominations for her excellence in television and film, is set to take the stage once again, starring in the new play by Pulitzer Prize-winning writer David Auburn.Directed by Tony-winning Daniel Sullivan, whom Linney has worked with before, the curtain will open in summer 2023 with the Ozarks actress in one of the starring roles. Stranger Things season four has broken a US streaming record for minutes watched within a single week.According to Nielsen (via The Hollywood Reporter), the Netflix series racked up 7.2 billion minutes of viewing time for the week of May 30 to June 5.
