The 34-year-old rapper switched up her look into a bright pink number for her Lizzoverse album Playback Performance at Cipriani 25 Broadway later that afternoon. Lizzo also spoke about changing a lyric in her new song, “Grrrls”, which included what fans thought to be a derogatory term. I thought, what’s the best thing I can do? I can say my opinion on it and just add to everyone’s opinion or I can do something about it.” Continuing on, she added “really, I wanted to be a leader in what we should be doing as a culture, making this world a better place.
