Liverpool could miss out an a £17m bumper payment should Barcelona manage to sell flop Philippe Coutinho this summer.Ronald Koeman would also need to ensure that the Brazilian does not become a part of his regular first team plans for the rest of the season.Coutinho was enjoying one of his best campaign so far at the Nou Camp before injury struck just before the new year.A ruptured external meniscus has left him sidelined for the whole of 2021, but it is hoped that he will return by April 10 for the El Clasico clash against Real Madrid.However, Coutinho’s involvement could be vastly affected by a clause in Barcelona’s deal to sign him from Liverpool back at the start of 2018.The Reds included a number of clauses on top of the agreed £103m.
