The Reds have been linked with the RB Leipzig forward since the January transfer window. With 27 goals in 37 appearances this season, the German is seen as strong competition for Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino.
And the Mirror have reported that the Reds are willing to offload three players to secure. Xherdan Shaqiri, Harry Wilson and Marko Grujic have all struggled under Klopp and are set to be the first to see the door.
The Swiss forward arrived at Anfield last season as a strong season with Stoke – but he has been unable to break into the manager’s front three.
