Liverpool are reportedly keeping tabs on Aston Villa defender Ezri Konsa, as Jurgen Klopp looks at further defensive reinforcements at the end of the season.
Klopp conceded that his side will not win the Premier League title, after their latest defeat left them 13 points behind leaders Manchester City.
Much of the Reds’ problems have stemmed from their horrific injury issues in the centre of defence. Virgil van Dijk suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury in October, while his defensive partner Joe Gomez was ruled out with a similarly serious knee injury.
Midfielders Fabinho and Jordan Henderson have both been utilised in defence, while Klopp also sanctioned the arrivals of Ben Davies and Ozan Kabak in January.
