Liverpool are cautiously optimistic of receiving some much-needed good news in the midst of their injury nightmare. The Reds are hopeful both Andy Robertson and Jordan Henderson will be available this weekend, despite problems which forced the pair out of international fixtures on Sunday.
Henderson was replaced at half time during England’s defeat by Belgium in Leven, with a back problem that provoked fears of a long term absence for the Anfield skipper.
But those fears have eased, with Henderson travelling back to London with the England squad on Monday. He will be assessed on Tuesday morning on the issue.
