Liverpool defender Joel Matip has described the moment he was forced to take a drug test with a "depressed" Lionel Messi mere moments after the Reds' magnificent comeback win over Barcelona in the Champions League.
Matip was part of the Liverpool side which overturned a 3-0 deficit from the first leg to beat Barcelona 4-3 on aggregate, after a brace apiece from Divock Origi and Georginio Wijnaldum.
The win took Jurgen Klopp's side through to the final but, while the rest of the squad were celebrating the win, Matip was selected to take a routine UEFA drugs test.
