WHEN Jesy Nelson quit Little Mix last month, many fans feared it spelled the end of the nation’s favourite pop group. But the remaining trio have proved there is no stopping them after scoring their fifth No1 single and promising more new music is just weeks away.
Sweet Melody, taken from sixth album Confetti, which was released in November, last night became their first chart-topper since 2016’s Shout Out To My Ex.
And Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jade Thirlwall and Perrie Edwards have been posing with their Official Charts trophies to celebrate.
Insisting there is plenty more to come from the group, Leigh-Anne told me: “We have new music coming very soon. “We’re working on something really exciting that will be out this spring, and can’t wait for.
