Lisa Marie Presley was determined to help others move past their grief after her son Benjamin's death in 2020, even as she struggled with her own overwhelming grief.David Kessler, who had plans to host a podcast on grief with Presley prior to her death, revealed to People on Tuesday that the late singer had been running grief support group meetings in her final years.The daughter of Elvis Presley died on Thursday, January 12, at age 54 after she went into cardiac arrest at her home.'She had x-ray vision for other people's pain,' Kessler said of Presley's overwhelming empathy.

She was focused on you. She talked about turning her pain into purpose,' he continued.Kessler added that Presley even met with grieving family members at her late father's home Graceland, which she inherited following his death.
During what appeared to be her final trip to Graceland, 'she sat down with [a newly bereaved mother] for two to three hours and told her what to expect on this journey,' he recounted.'I just sat there watching how far she had come in her own pain.
