Lionell Messi has named Manchester City and Manchester United among the teams that are favourites to win this season's Champions League.
But while Chelsea also got a mention in his list — Liverpool were surprisingly missed out. The Paris Saint-Germain superstar said that the Premier League has three "great teams" in the competition but didn't mention the Merseyside giants, as reported by The Mirror.
Messi, 34, arrived in Paris on a free transfer this summer and scored against Manchester City last month to help PSG top Group A.
But the Argentina forward knows there are many teams across Europe who also have strong claims for continental glory, including reigning champions Chelsea as well as City and Manchester United.
