Liar viewers fume as they're distracted from murder riddle by technical blunder

dailystar.co.ukITV thriller Liar returned to our screens for the first episode of series two tonight. Viewers have been waiting more than two years to find out what happened to serial rapist Andrew Earlham (Ioan Gruffudd).
Tonight’s episode began with a flashback to when teacher Laura Neilson (Joanne Froggatt) first met evil Andrew at a meeting to discuss his son Luke Earlham’s (Jamie Flatters) disruptive behaviour in school.
Fans of the drama were later brought up to date and shown the moment Andrew’s dead body was found in a isolated marsh by the police.
DI Karen Renton (Katherine Kelly) quickly went to Laura’s school to quiz her about her whereabouts on the day Andrew’s dead body was found.
