The second season of the ITV drama follows Laura Nielson (Janne Froggatt) as she is accused of killing her rapist, Andrew Earlham (Ioan Gruffudd).
Laura has so far been desperate to prove her innocence and find evidence of a set up. Tonight's finale saw Laura and her sister continue to follow the trail, leading her back to the house of Andrew's son, Luke.
The flashback shows Luke had a fiery confrontation with his dad over the rapes he's committed. Meanwhile, Laura manages to get rapist Oliver to panic after a confrontation - leading him to call his blackmail victim, Rory Maxwell's son.
