Liam Gallagher has said that he would rather be pushed about in a wheelchair in "agony" rather than have a hip replacement for his arthritis.
The moody Oasis singer also said that the pain is so bad he has to take herbal sleeping tablets and slather himself in Deep Heat every night.
But that’s still preferable to having a double hip replacement after he was told he could die during the op. Liam, 49, said his hips are "f*****" and that his bones are "all mashed up".If he had a hip replacement the damaged hip joint would be replaced with a prosthetic.
Liam told MoJo magazine: "I think I'd rather just be in pain, which is ridiculous, obviously, I know that."He joked that his hips made "snap, crackle and pop" noises when it's cold and admitted that due to also suffering from an autoimmune disorder called Hashimoto’s disease, his health is on a "downward slide".
