Lewis Hamilton proved once again why he is F1's own superhero as he stormed to the 89th victory of his career at the Belgian Grand Prix and then dedicated it to Chadwick Boseman.

The six-time world champion opened up a 47-point title lead in the drivers' championship with another flawless performance in a pole-to-flag victory at Spa on Sunday.

An emotional Hamilton celebrated atop his Mercedes while performing the Wakanda salute from Black Panther in tribute to actor Boseman.

The American star's death at the age of 43 after a secret four-year battle with colon cancer was announced on Saturday morning, with Hamilton learning of the sad news just hours before taking part in qualifying.
