Lea Michele’s Glee co-star Dean Geyer has defended his on-screen girlfriend after accusations she was ‘very unpleasant’ to work with.
Lea’s tweet after the death of George Floyd sparked the controversy. She spoke out against racist violence, which led to her former Glee co-star Samantha Ware calling her out for her past behaviour, when Lea had reportedly told Samantha she would ‘s**t in her wig’.
But now Dean, who played Brody Weston, has defended Lea, who played Rachel Berry, calling her the ‘most welcoming’ person when he joined the cast of the hit show.
He added that he never saw her make anyone feel uncomfortable. Dean’s comments come after several people have claimed that Lea was difficult to work with.
