Just two days after she was announced as an executive producer, Laverne Cox is backing out of Sarah Jones' sex industry documentary Sell/Buy/Date.The documentary will be based on Jones' critically-acclaimed stage play of the same name, with Meryl Streep and Rashida Jones also on board as executive producers.As word of the documentary started to spread, though, fans started to call her out, with one claiming the project represented 'everything you're supposedly against,' leading her to back out of the project, citing the 'outrage' over her involvement and the need to protect her mental health.
