Latto recruits Mariah Carey and DJ Khaled for “Big Energy Remix”

Latto (fka Mulatto) turned has been turning heads since her teens with her no-nonsense yet consistently fun flow. Now 23, the Columbus-born, Atlanta-based rapper dropped her second studio album, 777, this past Friday on RCA Records.

At the time of the record's release, she teased a remix of its early single "Big Energy" with "secret special guests." The remix dropped today, its special guests none other than Songbird Supreme Mariah Carey and Mr.

Major Key Alert, DJ Khaled. Both versions of "Big Energy" return to a tried and true sample (Tom Tom Club's "Genius of Love"), making the original a quick classic.

And the additions of two instantly recognizable marquee acts on the redux give the track the type of star power that could easily lead to a megahit.
